A personal evidence portfolio built around the principle that advocacy must be practical. The presenter traces a path from mastering open science tools as a user to translating that knowledge into training for others, then presents a series of evidence markers rather than claims. These include annual International Open Access Week workshops hosted since 2016 — offered as evidence of sustained engagement rather than one-off training — supported by UNESCO/INASP grants, and membership of a Nigerian community-led open science advocacy group working with AULNU, the Committee of Vice Chancellors and the LIBSENSE network of experts.
