This collaborative project between PublicHealth.Africa and LIBSENSE examines the challenges and opportunities for publishing public health research from African scholars in open access formats. By analyzing data from 173 journals across 13 African countries, the study explores the availability of open access publishing, the prevalence of Article Processing Charges (APCs), and indexing patterns that affect the accessibility and visibility of African research.
