Description

The UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, adopted by 193 member states at the 41st General Conference in 2021, is the first international standard-setting instrument for Open Science. This recommendation offers a universally agreed-upon definition of Open Science and outlines core values, guiding principles, and practical actions to implement these principles at various stages of the scientific cycle.
