Inequity in health research publication in Africa – and some suggestions

This is a presentation given to the editorial board of the Somali Health Action Journal (SHAJ) which discusses the global inequity in research publication, with a focus on Africa. It includes some suggestins about how journals such as the SHAJ can take advantage of innovative open publishing and reviewing options.
