COVID-19 Mortality Risk Assessment among Various Age Groups using Phylogenetic Analysis

This is a study conducted in 2020 to identify if age was a risk factor for COVID-19-related mortality. The study accessed publicly available records online from five different countries and analyzed the data. Bioinformatics and statistical tools were used to assess the relationship between age and mortality due to covid-19 disease. The study found a positive relationship between higher age groups and higher risk of COVID-19-related mortality.
