Factors affecting the utilization of Intermittent Preventive Treatment (IPT) among pregnant women in the Hohoe Municipality, Volta Region, Hohoe
Description
Malaria in pregnancy can lead to complications. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends intermittent preventive treatment in pregnancy (IPTp) with sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine (SP), advising at least three doses. Yet achieving the recommended coverage remains challenging hence the need to investigate the factors affecting the utilization of IPT among pregnant women.
