This article features an interview with Omo Oaiya, Chief Strategy Officer at WACREN (West and Central Africa Research and Education Network), about LIBSENSE, a collaboration between libraries and National Research and Education Networks (NRENs). The initiative aims to advance Open Access and Open Science in Africa by developing sustainable approaches to support researchers, promote global collaboration, and improve access to valuable data.
