This presentation was delivered at the recently concluded Department of Knowledge and Information Stewardship (DKIS) Conference on Advancing Social Justice Through Curriculum Realignment, which was held in conjunction with the Diamond Open Access Summit at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. The paper discussed how the LIBSENSE project achieves both affirmative (supporting the existing framework) and transformative (challenging the existing framework) outcomes as a result of actions and interventions undertaken by the community.
